Sporting a birthday suit on the beach might seem like a big no-no but our list of Top 5 beaches for skinny-dipping will make you go from prude to nude in no time! Before you drop your clothes, remember that going to the beach naked has nothing to do with sexuality and everything to do with respecting others, so make sure to follow the nudist etiquette and the following few key rules: keep your eyes to yourself, wear sunscreen and leave your camera at home!

1. Island of Formentera, Spain

The smallest of the Balearic Islands, Formentera is a quiet, peaceful island just a ferry ride from Ibiza. With its white beaches, clear turquoise seas and laidback attitude Formentera is a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Apart from the main town beach, all other beaches are clothing optional zone, so you will have the opportunity to pick and choose what you like best. For those on the shy side, try less crowded Platja de Llevant, a beautiful sandy beach, surrounded by rocky headlands and dunes.

Nudist beaches are common all over Croatia’s Adriatic coast as Croatia was the first country in Europe to start with the concept of commercial naturist resorts. The island is located just off Vela Luka, Korcula Island’s main port. 4. Sorobon Beach, island of Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles

Balneário Camboriú is one of the main centers of tourism in the state of Santa Catarina. Praia do Pinho is the first officially designated nudist beach in Brazil, completely isolated with full infrastructure and total privacy.  Be aware that nudity is mandatory and single males are denied the right of entry, unless they are current members of the International Naturist Federation and present their naturist passport!
